Walking One’s Talk About Peace… Peace Pilgrim, The Movie Born in England, Mark Skelton wanted to explore the rest of the world before deciding on a lifelong career. At 20 years old, he bought a one-way ticket around the globe and embarked on the journey of a lifetime. This trip turned out to be a five year adventure of learning and growing, covering more than 40 countries. At 25, Mark landed the job as Arts & Entertainment executive on London’s biggest selling newspaper, The Evening Standard. Mark’s multi-million dollar client list included some of the largest names in publishing, theatre and film.
His major role was to handle each company’s advertising, marketing and sponsorship needs in the highly competitive entertainment world. On turning 30, he decided to set up his own production company and went on to co-produce the award-winning two-part documentary, “For the Love of Skype”, with Al Gore’s Current TV Network. Mark has most recently optioned the rights to the life story and world-renowned book about Peace Pilgrim, co-wrote the screenplay, and is currently producing the feature length movie based on her life.
