Through the insightful and compassionate nature of her work, she is affectionately known by her clients as The Love Whisperer. The Audacity of Self Love – Voyage of the Self Made Woman is a compelling non-fiction self-help book that speaks to the universal woman’s ‘heroic journey’ as she cuts through the layers of ‘love deprivation’ and deepens her sources of Self-Love. Christina designed the book for women of all ages and cultural backgrounds who, throughout the years, have been weathered by life’s storms, and are seeking to dawn a new horizon for their lives.
She states: “This book is intended provide a roadmap for unleashing our feminine genius, as women, and for recapturing the original brilliance encoded within our souls. This time in history calls us to become feminine Change Agents as we champion a bigger ‘idea’ for our lives, and co-create a new world of enlightened living.” The Audacity of Self Love book highlights many dynamics commonly experienced at one time or another in a woman’s life that has often led her down the rabbit hole of love deprivation. Christina adds, “During the formative years of my life, I experienced sexual violation by my male peers. My primal beauty, feminine power and inherent wisdom also became the subject of control before I had the discernment or the voice to stand for my truth. Like many budding beauties of the world, my brilliance was considered a threat and my inherent feminine gifts were demoted as unrelatable and narcissistic.
I began to think something was wrong with me. So I found myself in situations where I constantly edited my behavior in order to protect myself or appease others who were perpetrating the popular culture of that time period. It wasn’t until I began sharing my story with other women that I became aware of how common these types of experiences are. So I wrote this book from my personal vantage point, as well as from my decades of professionally counseling women. It’s designed to be a compassionate friend during those pivotal moments of a woman’s life, and provides useful tools for each woman to redesign her life in a way that awakens and reaffirms her connection with her soul’s own code and core values.”
