Kathleen Rosenblatt, L.Ac, PhD, OMD a pioneer acupuncturist, co-founded the first Acupuncture clinic in the U.S—at UCLA, and also the first five Acupuncture colleges in the USA in Boston and California. She was the first acupuncturist in Santa Barbara , holding classes at Cottage Hospital and SBCC in 1976. Kathleen has applied acupuncture therapy in a psychotherapy suite at Cedars-Sinai Medical Towers.
Author of René Daumal: The Life & Work of a Mystic Guide (SUNY Press, also published in Paris), she is particularly focused on the spiritual dimension of health, specializing in depression and panic disorders.
She is author of two double CDs: “Practical Cellular Meditation” and “Practical Veterans Stress Release” for PTSD based on circulating endorphins and turning on All the brains of the body.
Kathleen studied with Carlos Castaneda and curanderas in Mexico . She has applied many of the theories about body-mind well-being learned from Daumal and the Hindu masters, to help patients experience a deep sense of reunification through the body’s endorphin network. Her treatment aims at harnessing the radiant energy that bathes every cell of our psycho-neuro-immune system.
