Graham Penniman is a champion for environmental responsibility and social respect doing what he can to put a “dent in the universe!” He is a “neo-hippie”, an “underground cowboy”, or a “modern renaissance man,” you choose: dynamic, thoughtful, action oriented and colorful.
“Make the Most of Every Moment” is the mantra he lives by, which drives his passion for learning, experience, and adventure. Graham’s involvement extends across the arts, music, sustainability, sports, activism, marketing and event production.
While studying interpersonal & organization communications at the University of Central Florida, Graham produced GreenWaves Gathering; the largest multi-dimensional cause oriented event hosted by a university in the nation from 2010-2012. He worked with Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in the Planet Ambassador Program; as well as, booked a series of stops for the Sustainable Living Roadshows 2011 “Right to Know” Tour.
Graham is an energetic organizer with game-changing ideas who thinks big. He is a passionate change agent encouraging a comprehensive shift to a sustainable paradigm. He is working to permeate the event industry with an ethos of sustainable management that reduces environmental impact and inspires a ripple effect of conscious action and new consumerism.
After making the leap to LA, Graham entered into music licensing as marketing director with Nicki Jack Music Publishing; formed his business TryActivation; volunteers his time as program director for the Electronic Music Alliance (EMA).
EMA is a not for profit uniting the electronic dance community around issues of health, safety, greening, and giving back. EMA’s goals are to educate our community about these issues and create programs that offer fun and effective solutions.
