NIC JACKSON
Multi-talented recording artist and songwriter, Nic Jackson, is based in Los Angeles, California.
After studying at Musicians Institute, he began performing at historic venues in LA. Musically, his vision is focused – to blend elements of soul, funk, R&B, and pop. Warm and organic, with a distinctive sound, his music channels the perks of the Old School scene, while staying creative and innovative.
Jackson recorded the theme music for “Is That Black Enough For You” [Netflix] in 2022 just before performing at the White House. He was featured on “Motown Magic,” a Netflix anime series, voicing the characters Uncle Ro and Brand. Nic has also performed live, opening for Mint Condition and Blackstreet at the prestigious Nova Theatre in Los Angeles.
In 2020, Jackson released a studio album titled, “Waiting For the Day,” with eight standout tracks. The album captures the intensity of his live performance, but with more emphasis on lyrics. In 2023, he wrote and recorded “On Top Of The World” for the feature film, “Renfield.”
Jackson’s music been favorably compared to Al Green, Marvin Gaye, and Leon Bridges.
It’s a sound you already know and love… from the first time you hear it.
